2015 – At the Global Investigative Journalists Conference

Interlink alumni Ronny Rochas (right) and his colleague won the Global Shining Light Award for an investigation into the smuggling of cigarettes in Latin America. Ronny was trained by Interlink's team in 2013/2014.

The Interlink Academy had some fantastic days at the Global Investigative Journalists Conference 2015 in Lillehammer/Norway. In addition to Ronny winning the Global Shining Light Award, Interlink lecturer Denys Bihus from Ukraine received a Certificate of Excellence for his participation in the Yanukovvchleaks project. Werner delivered a presentation on Interlink’s cutting edge blended learning approach. Also present in Lillehammer were our lecturers Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Giannina Segnini, Günter Bartsch, Henk van Ess, Manfred Redelfs and Martin Klingst. The conference was a huge inspiration for everyone.
