2018 Digital Journalism for the Caucasus

In this course the participants learned what disinformation is and how they can recognize it. They acquired essential verification skills and got to know tools with which they can independently verify the authenticity of information, photographs and videos, so that it will become easier for them to distinguish real news from fake news.

Interlink alumn Ronny Rojas (right) and his colleague won the Global Shining Light Award for an investigation into the smuggling of cigarettes in Latin America. Ronny was trained by Interlink's team in 2013/2014.
