2015 – At the Global Investigative Journalism Conference
Interlink alumn Ronny Rojas (right) and his colleague won the Global Shining Light Award for an investigation into the smuggling of cigarettes in Latin America. Ronny was trained by Interlink's team in 2013/2014.
The Interlink Academy had a couple of fantastic days at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference 2015 in Lillehammer/Norway. In addition to Ronny winning the Global Shining Light Award, Interlink lecturer Denys Bihus from Ukraine received a Certificate of Excellence for his participation in the Yanukovychleaks project. Werner delivered a presentation on Interlink’s cutting edge blended learning approach. Also present in Lillehammer were our lecturers Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Giannina Segnini, Günter Bartsch, Henk van Ess, Manfred Redelfs and Martin Klingst. The conference was a huge inspiration to everyone.
At the Global Investigative Journalists Conference 2015 in Lillehammer/Norway, Werner Eggert was invited to present Interlink's cutting edge blended-learning approach. The session was part of the academic track.
Ronny Rojas was trained by Interlink's team in 2013/2014 in a course financed by Bertelsmann SE. At the Global Investigative Journalism Conference 2015, he won the Global Shining LIght Award for an investigative story on the smuggling of cigarettes in Latin America.
